Cloud & Infrastructure Trainer (part time, freelance)

You teach how financial services systems are built, deployed, run and secured in the cloud and on Linux. You cover 14 modules, from Linux and Git basics to Kubernetes, site reliability and cyber security.

Modules you teach

• Cloud platforms: AWS; Microsoft Azure; Google Cloud Platform.
• Containers and infrastructure as code: Docker; Kubernetes; Terraform.
• Linux and scripting: Linux, Bash & Unix; Bash / Shell Scripting; PowerShell; Git.
• Running production: DevOps & Platform Engineering; Site Reliability & Observability; ITIL.
• Security: Cyber Security.

What you do in this role

• Show learners how to build, deploy and monitor a small service, live on screen.
• Explain how banks run cloud under regulation: change control, incident management,



resilience and audit trails.
• Help support and operations staff move into DevOps, SRE or cloud roles.

Essential

• 5+ years in cloud, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE, with at least 2 in financial services.
• Hands-on with AWS or Azure (ideally both), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and Linux.
• Experience of incident and change management in a regulated firm.

Desirable

• A current AWS, Azure or Google Cloud certification.
• ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Security operations experience (SOC, penetration testing or security engineering).
• PowerShell on Windows estates.
