Job Description Summary
• Independently execute, and/or lead aero design of aero-derivative gas turbine engine combustors for land-based power generation applications, supporting overall engine development program, working in a diverse & dynamic global environment. Seamlessly communicate with stakeholders, provide insights, and propose cutting-edge solutions to technical challenges using CFD as the design tool, strategize and constantly guide less experienced team members.
• Perform hi-fidelity CFD analysis to meet combustor aero performance requirements on durability, emissions, and operability. Contribute to development and improvisation of design methodologies with an intent to introduce new product design
• In this role you will be working with a multi-site global team to understand performance shortfalls, evaluate and propose design solutions to improve performance, validate combustor performance seen is tests with CFD, and facilitate entry into service for the improved designs
