Job Role: Accountant

Work Hours: 10 AM to 7 PM

Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Work Type: Full-time, Remote (Preference will be given to Chennai based candidates)

Role Description: The Accountant will
be responsible for maintaining internal bookkeeping, updating financial
records, coordinating with internal teams for accounting related information,
and ensuring that day to day financial transactions are recorded accurately and
on time.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain internal
bookkeeping and update financial records regularly.

• Record and track daily
financial transactions, expenses, receipts, and payments.

• Maintain accurate
ledgers, invoices, bills, and supporting documents.

• Coordinate with
internal teams to collect financial information, bills, invoices, and expense
details.

• Reconcile bank
statements, accounts, and transaction records.

• Track accounts payable
and receivable and follow up on pending payments.

• Prepare routine
financial reports and maintain updated accounting trackers.

• Assist with monthly
closing activities and ensure records are properly maintained.





• Support GST
documentation, tax related records, and other compliance requirements as
applicable.

• Organize and maintain accounting documents for
audits and future reference.

Requirements
• Bachelor's
degree in any related field.

• Minimum 2
to 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

• Strong
communication skills in Tamil and English.

• Knowledge
of internal bookkeeping and day to day accounting processes.

• Working
knowledge of accounting software such as Tally or similar tools.

• Proficiency
in MS Excel and maintaining financial trackers.

• Good
understanding of invoices, expenses, payments, bank reconciliation, and
ledger maintenance.

• Strong
coordination and followup skills to obtain information from internal teams.

• High
level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
