Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Telemarketing Specialist at GetCollg. The Telemarketing Specialist will contact prospective students and guardians, explain platform offerings, and guide them through the process of exploring colleges, universities, and courses. Responsibilities include making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, qualifying leads, maintaining accurate call records, and following up to nurture interest. The specialist will respond to questions, provide clear information, and escalate complex queries when needed.



The role also involves collaborating with the sales and support teams to improve scripts, share feedback from callers, and contribute to overall enrollment and engagement goals.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess solid Lead Generation and Sales skills to identify prospects, qualify opportunities, and support conversion goals.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to deliver clear information, listen actively, and adapt conversations to diverse callers.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Customer Support skills to handle inquiries professionally, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive caller experience.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or call management tools are beneficial.
• Prior experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or education counseling is an advantage.
