We are looking for an experienced Principal DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead infrastructure reliability, cloud platform engineering, automation, and performance optimisation across large-scale production systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, distributed systems, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and Linux environments.
This role requires a solid engineering mindset, with a focus on building resilient, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure. You will drive improvements in system reliability, deployment automation, observability, and operational excellence while supporting the performance and availability requirements of critical production workloads.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, maintain, and optimise scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure for large-scale production systems.
• Drive capacity planning, infrastructure performance tuning, resource optimisation,



and cloud cost management.
• Manage and optimise AWS services, including ECS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Kinesis, WAF, Systems Manager (SSM), and Secrets Manager.
• Improve production reliability, availability, resilience, and recovery capabilities across distributed systems.
• Enhance observability through monitoring, centralised logging, distributed tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Strengthen incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive measures for recurring production issues.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and related automation technologies.
• Implement GitOps practices and improve deployment workflows to enable consistent, secure, and repeatable releases.
