Alpha is building an AI-native workspace for go-to-market teams, bringing together content creation, company knowledge, assets, contacts, inbox and campaigns.

Our generative products turn user intent, brand context and reference material into useful content across text, images and layouts. We’re looking for a Product Intern to help improve the quality of these outputs and the experience of creating, reviewing and editing them.

About the role

You’ll help identify product opportunities, define what we should build and work with engineering to take improvements from an idea through launch. This includes shaping user-facing workflows and the generation pipeline behind them: what information it receives, how outputs are evaluated, and how users refine results when something isn’t right.

Key responsibilities

- Identify problems through product usage, user feedback and examples of unsuccessful generations

- Translate problems into transparent scope, user flows, requirements and testable acceptance criteria

- Design improvements to generation workflows: reference inputs, brand consistency, previewing, editing and selective regeneration

- Create lightweight prototypes or workflow demonstrations to explore and communicate ideas

- Define evaluation examples and quality criteria for generated outputs, including failure cases and recovery behavior

- Work with engineering on feasibility, dependencies and trade-offs between quality, speed, reliability and cost

- Prioritize a practical first release,



test the implementation and help drive it to launch

- Review outcomes after launch and use the evidence to decide what to improve next

- Help shape agent workflows: how models use tools and context, carry state across steps, and recover from failures

- Build and maintain evaluation examples to compare models, prompts and workflow changes against quality, reliability, latency and cost targets

Required skills

- Product thinking: understanding a user problem and translating it into a useful, manageable solution

- Ability to write clear requirements and explain user flows, edge cases and acceptance criteria

- Hands-on familiarity with generative AI applications and their limitations

- Robust observation and judgment about output quality and usability

- Explicit communication and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers

- Work you can demonstrate and explain, including your individual contribution

- Understand how to evaluate AI outputs using clear criteria, representative examples and failure analysis, rather than relying on a few positive demonstrations

Personal projects, college work, prototypes and previous internships all count.



Prior full-time product experience isn’t required.

Good to have

- Experience building or improving a multimodal application combining text, images, layouts, audio or video

- Experience with AI evaluations, prompt experimentation or comparing model outputs

- Familiarity with Figma, prototyping tools, AI APIs or lightweight coding/automation

- Experience with content-creation tools, brand systems or editing workflows

- Basic product analytics and experience testing ideas with users

- Experience building or experimenting with agent harnesses: the orchestration around models, including tool calls, context management, multi-step execution, retries and tracing

- Hands-on model evaluation: creating test datasets, defining rubrics, comparing models or prompts, analysing failures and checking for regressions
