Job Title: Xclarity Administrator Level 2 Product Field Engineer

Job Summary:

The Xclarity Administrator (LXCA) is a centralized resource-management solution designed to simplify infrastructure management, enhance response times, and improve the availability of server systems and solutions. This role requires an experienced engineer to support Level 2 service cases related to LXCA. The primary responsibilities include managing customer case workloads and regularly reporting critical cases to team leads and upper management.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical expertise to field teams for problem determination and isolation, and develop action plans to resolve client issues.
- Act as a technical interface between Level 1 Support and LXCA Development teams (Level 3 Development and LXCA Software Development).
- Develop and contribute to internal and external knowledge base articles.
- Support the product lifecycle from pre-product introduction to end-of-life, participating in pre-product activities and taking technical positions for defect deferrals when necessary.
- Collaborate with Software Development during the design phase to ensure product support, quality control, and client care are incorporated.




- Interface with client teams and customers to explain technical solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in regular case review meetings to discuss ongoing issues and solutions.
- Work collaboratively with virtual teams and management to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.

Mandatory Skills:

- Robust software skills in Unix Shell Scripts, Database Administration - Database Admin, T-SQL, and Operating Systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Power Shell, and POSTMAN.
- Experience with x86 server hardware, including SNMP, IPMI, Redfish API, and CIM.
- Networking knowledge, including TCP, SSL, HTTP, and SSH.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in product engineering support, IT departments, server services, or customer service.
- Familiarity with Xclarity Administrator and related infrastructure management tools.
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Software is required.

Skills:- Bash, Powershell, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), IPMI, Postman and Linux/Unix
