Role Overview

We are looking for a Salesforce Omni Studio Developer with 3 7 years of experience to design, develop, configure, and support scalable Salesforce solutions using Omni Studio capabilities.

The candidate will work on a European Insurance transformation program, collaborating with Salesforce Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA, Integration and Data teams to deliver customer-centric insurance journeys across Sales, Service, Policy, Claims, and Partner/Broker channels.

The role requires solid hands-on experience in Omni Scripts, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures and Flex Cards, along with good understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, integrations, security and performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Omni Studio Development

- Design and develop Omni Scripts, Flex Cards, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures.
- Build reusable Omni Studio components for customer, agent, broker and internal-user journeys.
- Configure complex business processes and guided user journeys using Omni Scripts.
- Develop responsive and reusable Flex Cards for displaying customer, policy, claim and account information.
- Configure Data Raptors for data extraction, transformation and loading.
- Develop Integration Procedures for orchestration of Salesforce and external-system interactions.
- Implement conditional logic, formulas, data mapping and error handling within Omni Studio components.
- Implement appropriate caching and performance optimization strategies for Omni Studio components.

2. Salesforce Development

- Work with standard and custom Salesforce objects, relationships, record types, flows and validation rules.
- Develop or enhance Apex classes, triggers and Lightning Web Components (LWC) where required.
- Integrate Omni Studio solutions with Salesforce Flow and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Understand Salesforce Governor Limits and apply scalable development practices.
- Follow Salesforce development and configuration best practices.

3. Insurance Domain

Work on insurance-related business processes such as:

- Customer / Policyholder 360
- New Business / Quote-to-Policy
- Insurance product and policy servicing
- Policy amendments and endorsements
- Renewals
- Claims initiation and servicing
- Customer service / case management
- Broker / Agent management
- Customer onboarding
- Premium and payment-related processes
- Document generation and management




- Notifications and correspondence
- Cross-sell / up-sell journeys

Knowledge of European insurance processes such as Life, P&C;/General Insurance, Commercial Insurance, or Health Insurance will be an advantage.

4. Integration

- Develop Omni Studio Integration Procedures integrating with external applications and APIs.
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML payloads.
- Collaborate with Mule Soft/API/integration teams.
- Understand integration patterns such as synchronous and asynchronous processing.
- Handle authentication, error handling, retry and timeout scenarios.
- Integrate Salesforce with external insurance platforms such as policy administration, claims, billing, document management and customer platforms.

5. Security & Compliance

- Implement Salesforce security best practices including:
- Profiles
- Permission Sets
- Permission Set Groups
- Roles and Sharing
- Object/Field-Level Security
- Record-level access
- Apply appropriate security controls within Omni Studio solutions.
- Understand data privacy requirements relevant to European customers, including GDPR principles.
- Ensure sensitive customer, policy and claims information is appropriately protected.

6. Performance & Quality

- Design scalable Omni Studio solutions considering transaction volume and data complexity.
- Apply appropriate Omni Studio caching / TTL strategies where applicable.
- Optimize Data Raptors and Integration Procedures.
- Avoid unnecessary Salesforce queries and callouts.
- Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT.
- Analyze and resolve defects identified during testing and production support.
- Participate in code reviews and technical walkthroughs.

7. Deployment & Dev Ops

- Work with Salesforce deployment processes across Dev / SIT / UAT / Production environments.
- Use tools such as:
- Salesforce CLI
- Git
- Azure Dev Ops / Jira
- Copado / Gearset or similar Salesforce Dev Ops tools
- Support deployment preparation, validation and post-deployment activities.




- Maintain technical documentation for Omni Studio components and integrations.
