We're seeking an experienced and passionate Fundraising Manager to lead and grow our fundraising programs across Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park.

Reporting to the General Manager Impact & Partnerships, you'll lead a small fundraising team and drive sustainable revenue growth through grants, appeals, regular giving, bequests, memorial giving, community fundraising and donor engagement programs. Working across Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park, you'll help grow supporter participation, strengthen donor relationships, and secure funding that directly supports conservation, education, and animal welfare outcomes.

This is an opportunity to build meaningful supporter relationships while contributing directly to conservation, education, animal welfare and major capital projects.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and implement Zoos SA's fundraising programs and campaigns.
- Grow revenue across grants, appeals, regular giving, bequests and community fundraising.
- Develop and deliver donor acquisition, stewardship and retention strategies.
- Identify and secure grant funding opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with donors, supporters and key stakeholders.
- Prepare compelling funding proposals, donor communications and impact reports.
- Manage fundraising budgets, revenue forecasting and performance reporting.
- Lead, coach and develop the fundraising team.
- Support major donor engagement activities alongside senior leaders.
- Ensure fundraising operations, CRM management and reporting are delivered to a high standard.

About You

You are a strategic and results-driven fundraising professional who enjoys building relationships and leading high-performing teams.

You'll bring:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in fundraising,



development or stakeholder engagement.
- A proven track record of achieving fundraising revenue targets.
- Experience delivering successful fundraising campaigns and donor engagement programs.
- Strong grant writing, proposal development and communication skills.
- Experience managing donor relationships and supporter stewardship programs.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Solid financial, reporting and analytical skills.
- Experience using fundraising CRM platforms and donor databases.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for conservation and creating positive community impact.
