• Review of annual premium tax returns, estimates and other miscellaneous filings for US based entities.
• Performing a review of filings prepared by other team members for accuracy, completeness and technical proficiency.
• E filings of returns via OPTins and making the required payment to the state authority.
• Performing transaction testing for five different types of transactions – Recent Business, Renewal, Reinstatement, Cancellation and Endorsement, while using required applications..
• Preparation of federal, state and local tax returns including extensions for US based Partnerships, Corporations, and S. Corporation using software's like Go System, OneSource etc.
• Creating e-file XMLs of returns on platforms/software/applications approved by Internal Revenue Services (IRS).
• Perform Research on the open items and resolve them in timely manner.
• Assist team to prepare internal reports, provide support in Audits and report deficiencies to offshore team.
• Provide support to onshore team with tax audits as they arise
• Co-ordinate within the team for training,
resolving complex issues, seeking advice etc.
• Proficient in Financial Accounting & Reporting, Taxation & Compliance, Financial Analysis, Client Engagement
• Must have worked on any of the ERP preferably Workday and Blackline
