Job Summary:
The Category Sourcing Manager – Information Technology is responsible for partnering with IT, business, and functional stakeholders to manage sourcing initiatives that improve commercial outcomes, reduce risk, support enterprise technology objectives, and contribute to APi Group’s broader procurement transformation..
Develop and execute sourcing strategies across IT categories to deliver business value, cost savings, risk mitigation, and favorable commercial outcomes. Serve as the primary sourcing partner to IT and function/ business stakeholders, leading sourcing initiatives from prospect assessment through supplier selection, contract execution, and value delivery.

• Provide market intelligence, supplier insights, benchmarking, and procurement expertise to support business decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into sourcing plans, project timelines, and execution activities.
• Proactively identify sourcing opportunities through spend analysis, stakeholder engagement, contract reviews, and market intelligence.
• Support development and execution of the sourcing initiative pipeline aligned with category and IT priorities.
• Identify opportunities and execute initiatives related to cost optimization, supplier consolidation, standardization, and value creation consistent with approved category strategies.
