Your Roles And Responsibilities
The MO IS Compliance & Assurance Lead is responsible for leading audit coordination, assurance, regulatory readiness, compliance governance and continuous improvement activities across Motion IS.
The role serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on governance, risk, audit, and compliance practices, ensuring alignment with ABB requirements and industry-recognized frameworks including COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, and IIA Standards.
As a key governance and assurance partner, the role provides independent oversight, challenge, guidance, and reporting across audit, control, compliance, and regulatory initiatives while fostering a risk-based culture, sustainable remediation, and operational excellence. The position collaborates extensively with Internal Audit,
External Audit, MO IS Compliance, Legal, Core IS, Division IS, Local IS, and Business stakeholders to strengthen governance effectiveness, operational resilience, and organizational readiness.

Audit & Assurance Leadership
• Lead Internal and External Audit engagements across Motion IS, ensuring audit readiness, control effectiveness, high-quality evidence management, and sustainable remediation of findings.
• Provide independent challenge and oversight regarding control design, operating effectiveness, remediation plans, and governance decisions. Also, assess audit observations and management actions against ABB requirements and recognized frameworks, including COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, and IIA Standards.
