Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to develop innovative clothing designs, understand current fashion trends, and create designs that meet customer preferences. The candidate should have knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, pattern making, and fashion illustration, along with the ability to coordinate with tailoring and production teams to ensure quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Fashion Design & Development
• Develop creative designs for women's wear, ethnic wear, casual wear, and other clothing collections.
• Create fashion sketches, design concepts, and mood boards.
• Research current fashion trends, colours, fabrics, and market preferences.
• Develop recent collections based on seasonal trends and customer requirements.
• Fabric & Material Selection
• Select suitable fabrics, colours, prints, accessories, and embellishments.
• Understand fabric quality, texture, durability, and suitability for different garments.
• Coordinate fabric sourcing and material selection according to design requirements and budget.




• Pattern Making & Garment Construction
• Prepare garment specifications, measurements, and technical drawings.
• Develop patterns and coordinate sample garment preparation.
• Ensure proper fitting, finishing, and quality of garments.
• Suggest alterations and improvements based on fitting trials.
• Tailoring & Production Coordination
• Coordinate with tailors, pattern makers, and production staff to execute designs.
• Monitor the garment-making process to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Resolve design and fitting issues during production.
• Customer Coordination
• Understand customer preferences and provide suitable design suggestions.
• Develop customised designs based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate measurements, fittings, alterations, and final delivery.
