About This Role

Tired of SaaS sales where you demo, dump to CS, and chase quota on products that never quite deliver? At Alter AI you sell a live agentic OS and apps that ship — then hand clean commercial context to Relationship Managers and Product Managers who stay with the client.

We want seasoned software B2B sales people — executives, managers, and VP-level thrivers — who already know how to open doors, run discovery, and pitch with industry credibility. Self-propelled. Well connected. Motivated by winning outcomes, not theatre.

This is a full time role, remote-friendly, with Chennai as our home base. We are early-stage, the engine is live, and complex apps are already shipping.

What you will do

• Own outbound and inbound enterprise client acquisition for alterai.os, alterai.apps, and alterai.cabs
• Run discovery and pitch conversations that sell shipped outcomes — not feature decks
• Qualify opportunities and hand clean commercial context to Relationship Managers and Product Managers
• Build and work an industry network — know who to call and why Alter is the right fit




• Own pipeline, forecast, and follow-through until the commercial relationship is real
• Partner with founders and RMs so scope, pricing, and expectations stay honest from first call

What we are looking for

• Seasoned software B2B sales background — executive, manager, or VP track
• Proven experience in client acquisition, not only account farming
• Self-propelled and motivated — you open doors without waiting for a marketing list
• Industry knowledge deep enough to pitch the product with credibility
• Comfort in a fast-moving early-stage company where the product model itself is evolving

Nice to have

• Network across SaaS, enterprise software, or AI / GaaS buyers in India or global markets
• Experience selling platform, services, or outcome-based commercial models
• Chennai or India timezone overlap for team sync
