The role
You will own the flow of materials from supplier dispatch to customer delivery. Get it right, and aerospace and defence programmes keep moving. This role gives you real ownership, a team to lead,
and room to grow into supply chain leadership as Valence scales.
What you will do
Inbound and customs
• Work with the assigned freight forwarder: verify House Air Waybills and track every shipment to Yelahanka and Chennai FTWZ.
• Approve the Bill of Entry checklist and tell accounts the duty and IGST payable on each shipment.
• Handle FTWZ delivery orders, repacking letters and customs queries with our warehousing partner.
• Keep every shipment file complete and our import-export licence current.
Warehouse and inventory
• Inspect arrivals, raise insurance claims for damage, and inward goods in Tranzact against the purchase order.
• Escalate any rejection for a decision.
• Keep inventory, codes and labels accurate.
• Lead two warehouse helpers to Valence's packing SOP.
Dispatch and quality documents
• Prepare Certificates of Conformity from supplier batch numbers, and sign them once approved.
• Pack orders and send
