About Flora Carbon AI

Flora Carbon AI is a Kolkata-based climate-tech startup building an AI-powered digital MRV (dMRV) platform for nature-based carbon projects such as ARR, agroforestry and mangroves. We help project developers move from land screening to audit-ready registry documentation faster, cheaper and with higher credibility.

• FloraScope – satellite remote sensing & GIS for land eligibility, baselines and monitoring
• Carbon Intel – AI-assisted drafting of PDDs and monitoring reports
• Pre-Audit – catch gaps before the auditor does, so validation and verification don't get stuck

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Development & Marketing Associate to take our dMRV platform to market. You'll own the journey from first touch to closed deal – finding the right customers, building our brand in the carbon market, and turning interest into paying clients. You'll work directly with the founder and have real ownership from day one.

What You'll Do

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and prospect customers: carbon project developers, NGOs/FPOs,



agroforestry and plantation companies, corporates with nature-based climate commitments, and carbon consultants
• Run outbound outreach (LinkedIn, email, calls) and book discovery meetings
• Deliver product demos and tailor pitches to project types and standards (Verra VCS, Gold Standard, etc.)
• Manage the CRM pipeline, follow-ups, proposals and pilot onboarding
• Build partnerships with validation/verification bodies (VVBs), consultants and ecosystem players

Marketing

• Plan and run LinkedIn-led content: posts, carousels, case studies and product updates
• Create sales collateral: pitch decks, one-pagers, brochures and email campaigns
• Support website content, SEO and newsletters
• Organise webinars and represent Flora Carbon AI at climate and carbon market events

Market Intelligence

• Track carbon market trends, methodology updates and competitor activity
• Bring customer feedback back to the produ
