Overview:

Provide materials and metallurgical engineering expertise across material selection, qualification, manufacturing processes,



supplier assessments, failure analysis, and regulatory compliance for aerospace products.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Strong fundamentals in metallurgy and materials science with work experience in manufacturing process and special process for aerospace materials. Working knowledge on additive mfg. and composite materials will be beneficial.
• Shall have knowledge in interpretation of Industry material specification, process and specification (AMS, MIL, ASTM IS, BS, etc) and experience in laboratory characterization and testing of materials.
• Select and evaluate aerospace materials such as titanium, aluminum/aluminum-lithium, high-strength steels, nickel alloys, and advanced materials based on performance, producibility, and application requirements.
• Develop and execute material characterization and qualification programs, including A/B-basis design allowable and mechanical, fatigue, fracture, cree
