JOB TITLE: SAP CAPM DEVELOPMENT

LOCATION: Gurugram

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled SAP CAPM Developer to design, develop, enhance, and deploy cloud-native business

applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP). The

role involves end-to-end development across data modeling, services, security, integrations, SAPUI5/Fiori user

interfaces, testing, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using SAP CAP with Node.js and/or Java.
• Create CDS data models, entities, associations, compositions, annotations, services, and projections.
• Develop OData V4 services and implement custom service handlers, validations, actions, and business logic.
• Build and integrate SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications with CAP services and OData APIs.
• Implement role-based access control and application security using SAP Authorization and Trust Management

Service (XSUAA) and related BTP security services.

• Configure and consume SAP BTP destinations,



connectivity, and external APIs for system integrations.
• Work with SAP HANA Cloud for persistence, including schema design, deployment, queries, and performance

considerations.

• Develop reusable application services and maintain clean, modular, and scalable project structures.
• Create and maintain CAP configuration files including package.json, mta.yaml, xs-security.json, and

application routing configuration.

• Deploy CAP applications to SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and troubleshoot build, deployment, service binding,

routing, and runtime issues.

• Write unit/integration tests and perform debugging, error handling, logging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, UI5/Fiori developers, architects, and business stakeholders to

translate requirements into technical solutions.
