Role: Internal Auditor – Gold Loan

Location: Warangal | Hanumakonda | Vijayawada

Department: Internal Audit / Risk & Compliance

Industry: NBFC or Banking

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct internal audits of gold loan branches and operations.
* Verify gold valuation processes and purity testing procedures.
* Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, KYC, AML, and company policies.
* Audit loan files, customer documents, and disbursement processes.
* Verify pledged gold stock, storage procedures, and security controls.
* Identify operational gaps, fraud risks, and process deviations.
* Review branch cash handling and inventory management practices.
* Prepare audit reports with observations and corrective action plans.
* Follow up on closure of previous audit findings and compliance reports.
* Conduct surprise branch audits and field verification visits.
* Train branch staff on audit compliance and gold appraisal standards when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS





* Strong knowledge of gold loan operations and gold appraisal.
* Understanding of RBI regulations and NBFC audit practices.
* Knowledge of KYC, AML, and compliance procedures.
* Analytical and risk assessment skills.
* Attention to detail and report-writing ability.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and audit documentation.
* Ability to travel for branch audits.

QUALIFICATION

Graduation is mandatory.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Gold Loan Audit / Operations / Internal Audit in the NBFC or Banking sector.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

* Experience in branch audit and operational risk management.
* Exposure to gold loan valuation and stock verification.
* Robust communication and coordination skills.

COMPENSATION

CTC: Up to ₹5 LPA
