Job Description: Manager - Sustainability
Location: Mumbai

Role Overview
The Manager - Sustainability will be responsible for driving ABFRL's sustainability and ESG agenda through reporting, ratings management, carbon accounting, decarbonization initiatives, and environmental performance enhancement. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with global sustainability standards and the organization's long-term sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation and publication of the Annual Integrated Report in line with GRI, SASB, and IFRS Sustainability Standards.
• Manage ESG rating submissions and stakeholder engagement for DJSI, MSCI, and Sustainalytics.
• Drive organization-wide carbon accounting, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions measurement and reporting.
• Develop and implement decarbonization and environmental sustainability initiatives across business operations.
• Champion green building integration and sustainable infrastructure practices across ABFRL locations.
• Monitor sustainability performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
• MBA / Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or related discipline preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Sustainability, ESG, or Environmental Management.
• Hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, ESG ratings, carbon accounting, and climate initiatives.
Key Skills
• Strong understanding of GRI, SASB, IFRS Sustainability Standards, and ESG frameworks.
• Expertise in GHG accounting and decarbonization strategies.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
