MENS KNITWEAR DESIGNER @ ANDAMEN

We are looking for an experienced Menswear Designer who has expertise in circular and flat knitwear, has a modern, minimal sensibility, an expansive creative spectrum and understands sophistication and luxury. Someone who loves to experiment with fabric and garment concepts and has ideas of what more s/he can bring to Andamen. You will have the opportunity to design concepts, knit fabrics, silhouettes and prints for multiple knitwear categories, trims and packaging. You will be solely responsible for forecasting and interpreting trends, developing range strategies, closing range plans, and conducting market research. The way we work, you will visit points of creation (including factories, mills, and various specialized suppliers) to explore and prototype new concepts and develop deep product and technical knowledge while constantly innovating and expanding our creative spectrum.

Your responsibilities:
· Manifest the brand vision and direction, and the stories behind each collection, into original fabrics and styles that range from simple, to commercial,



to experimental
· Develop seasonal directions and product ranges based on the brand’s vision and international fashion trends
· Develop garment and fabric and print designs, especially for all knitwear categories
· Prepare detailed tech packs and design all trim and styling components
· Work on concept research and product development with all teams: merchandising, pattern masters, garment & fabric technologists, and production quality specialists
· Conduct market research and understand sales feedback to incorporate into future concepts
· You will report to our head of design and work very closely with our Founders

What we’re looking for:
· Original artist who can design a up-to-date, elevated aesthetic.
· 1-2 years of experience in menswear design. Preference for those with a background and experience in knitwear
