About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Marketplace to lead and scale our marketplace business across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Meesho, and other relevant marketplaces.
The role will own marketplace growth, revenue, profitability, visibility, and overall performance while also leading and managing the E-commerce Executive team. The ideal candidate should be commercially driven, data-oriented, and experienced in building marketplace strategies while managing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Growth & Strategy
• Own the overall marketplace business and growth strategy across relevant platforms.
• Drive revenue, profitability, orders, conversion, traffic, and market share across marketplaces.
• Develop and execute marketplace-specific growth plans, including promotions, campaigns, pricing, and visibility.
• Identify new marketplace opportunities and drive expansion into relevant platforms.
• Monitor competitor pricing, assortment, promotions,



and marketplace trends.

Business & Performance Management
• Own key marketplace KPIs including GMV, revenue, margins, ROAS, conversion rate, AOV, returns, cancellations, and inventory health.
• Analyse marketplace performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and profitability.
• Prepare regular business reviews, forecasts, and performance reports for senior management.
• Work closely with finance, supply chain, marketing, creative, and product teams to improve marketplace performance.

Team Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and manage the E-commerce Executive team responsible for day-to-day marketplace operations.
• Set clear goals, KPIs, and priorities for the team.
• Review team performance and ensure timely execution of marketplace activities.
• Build processes and SOPs for catalogue management, promotions, inventory, pricing, and marketplace operations.
