Role
The AGM – Category Management & Merchandising will be responsible for driving category growth, profitability, and merchandising strategy across assigned brands and categories. The role involves end-to-end P&L; ownership, assortment planning, brand partnerships, pricing strategy, inventory optimization, and recent brand onboarding, while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Category Strategy & Business Growth
• Develop and execute category strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
• Identify business opportunities through market research, consumer insights, and competitor benchmarking.
• Define assortment and merchandising strategies aligned with customer preferences and brand positioning.

2. P&L; and Commercial Management
• Own category/brand P&L;, ensuring achievement of sales, gross margin, and profitability targets.
• Drive pricing, promotional, and commercial strategies to maximize business performance.
• Monitor category KPIs and implement corrective measures to improve performance.

Brand & Vendor Management
• Build and strengthen strategic relationships with luxury watch brands and business partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations, business planning, and annual performance reviews.
• Drive onboarding of new brands, including due diligence, contract negotiations, and commercial setup.

4. Assortment & Inventory Management
• Oversee product selection, assortment planning, and lifecycle management.
• Optimize inventory levels, stock availability, replenishment, and sell-through.
• Identify slow-moving inventory and develop strategies for liquidation or assortment rationalization.

5. Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring
• Leverage sales data, market trends, and customer insights to drive business decisions.
• Track key metrics including sales growth, gross margin, inventory turnover, sell-through, and GMROI.
