Events Associate Manager Role Summary:
GHD Hotels is looking for an experienced and proactive Events Associate Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute memorable events across its hospitality properties. The role involves managing event operations, coordinating with vendors and internal departments, and ensuring seamless execution of daily in-house events, celebrations, and weekend functions.
Success in this role means delivering well-organised, high-quality events while maintaining guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the standards of GHD Hotels.
Responsibilities
• Plan, organise, and execute events, celebrations, and special functions.
• Coordinate daily in-house events and weekend activities.
• Manage event timelines, schedules, budgets, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, suppliers, and internal hotel departments.
• Oversee event setup, décor, logistics, and on-ground execution.




• Ensure all event requirements are completed within the agreed timelines.
• Monitor event quality and guest experience throughout the event.
• Assist in developing creative event concepts and engagement activities.
• Maintain event records, budgets, and post-event reports.
• Lead and coordinate event staff to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
• A bachelor’s degree in any stream is mandatory.
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and event coordination.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
