Role Description The Duty Medical Officer is a full time, on-site position based at Be Well Hospitals in Cuddalore. The role involves providing continuous medical coverage in inpatient wards and emergency units, assessing patients, documenting clinical findings,



and initiating appropriate investigations and treatment under established protocols. The Duty Medical Officer will monitor patient progress, respond to emergencies, coordinate with specialists and consultants, and ensure accurate, timely communication with patients and caregivers. Responsibilities also include supporting admission and discharge processes, maintaining medical records, adhering to clinical and safety guidelines, and participating in quality improvement and hospital training activities.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Medicine, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of common medical conditions.
