1. Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and commercially oriented Airline Ticketing Executive with hands-on experience in airline reservations, ticket issuance, fare analysis, pricing strategy, flight inventory management, and cost optimisation. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of airline fare structures, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and online booking platforms, with the ability to maximise profitability while ensuring competitive pricing and productive ticketing operations.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Airline Ticketing & Reservations
• Handle domestic and international flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and schedule changes.
• Work with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre, along with airline portals and other booking systems.
• Analyse airline fare rules, baggage allowances, fare conditions, penalties, and ticketing deadlines.




• Ensure accuracy in passenger details, PNR management, ticket documentation, and booking records.
• Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and travel partners to resolve booking and ticketing issues.

B. Pricing Strategy & Revenue Optimisation
• Develop and implement effective air ticket pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, route performance, fare availability, and competitor pricing.
• Analyse published fares, negotiated corporate fares, consolidator fares, and special airline offers to identify the most profitable booking options.
• Compare available fares across multiple channels to secure competitive rates without compromising profitability.
• Monitor fare fluctuations and advise the sales team on suitable booking windows and pricing opportunities.
• Maintain appropriate service margins, mark-ups, and service fees in accordance with company policies.
