Purpose/Objective

Head of Section - Setting is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, obtaining and maintaining Environmental Clearances (EC) and Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) approvals, overseeing environmental monitoring and management systems, and leading initiatives to enhance environmental quality at the port. The role involves managing environmental projects, liaison with regulatory authorities, securing statutory approvals, and ensuring the effective operation of treatment plants and waste management systems.
