Summary :UST is looking for an experienced Backend Lead Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of backend services, APIs, gateway functions, and data integrations. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong expertise in .NET technologies, distributed systems, cloud-native development, and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend solution design and implementation using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs and service interfaces.
• Maintain and enhance the Cortex Semi Gateway while integrating heterogeneous acquisition and orchestration systems.
• Drive PostgreSQL database design,



query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Establish coding standards, code review practices, automated testing frameworks, logging, and health monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve production and integration issues using telemetry, debugging, and data analysis techniques.
• Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, along with CI/CD automation.
• Mentor engineers, conduct technical reviews, and facilitate knowledge transfer across teams.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid SQL skills with hands-on experi
