Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer – Refrigeration will design and develop refrigeration systems and components for industrial and commercial applications. This full-time, in office role is based in Gandhinagar and involves creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings, selecting appropriate materials and components, and performing calculations related to heat load, energy efficiency, and system performance. The role includes preparing technical documentation,



supporting manufacturing and installation teams, and coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure designs meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards. The engineer will also participate in troubleshooting, design improvements, and cost optimization, while contributing to project planning and timelines.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
• Experience with refrigeration system design, including component selection (compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves) and piping layout.
• Proficiency in CAD tools for mechanical design and drafting (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software).
• Ability to perform engineering calculations for load analysis, efficiency optimization, and performance verification.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, safety codes, and best practices in refrigeration and HVAC
