Job Description

As a member of the CFD Competence team, you will support product development through advanced fluid flow and thermal simulations. You will work closely with design teams to optimize product performance from concept development through serial production. You will also contribute to the growth of Atlas Copco's CFD, fluid dynamics, and thermal engineering capabilities by supporting the Team Leader in developing technical competencies, standardizing simulation methodologies,



and promoting engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analyses for a wide range of products and engineering applications. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to translate engineering challenges into high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective design solutions. Provide end-to-end technical support, from requirement definition through simulation, interpretation of results, and implementation of recommendations.
• Adopt a customer-focused approach to understand engineering requirements and determine the most appropriate analysis methodology. Evaluate whether a problem can be addressed using engineering calculations, simplified analytical models, or detailed CFD simulations, and select the most efficient and accurate solution strategy.
• Take ownership of project execution by:

Planning and estimating project scope, effort, and timelines.
