About Zayn & Zoey
Zayn & Zoey is a small, quick-growing children’s learning brand. We write, illustrate and publish our own books, and sell them through our website, Amazon, FirstCry, bookstores and schools. We’re a lean team in Tardeo, Mumbai, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help build the company, not just do a job within it.

About the Role
You’ll start with one main focus: growth. That means finding new places and partners to sell our books, and working across every part of the business to make it happen. You’ll work closely with the founder and step in hands-on wherever needed.
This role is for someone who thinks like an owner, comes up with their own solutions, and wants to learn every aspect of running and growing a company. For the right person, it’s a path to broader management responsibility.

What You’ll Do
Growth & Partnerships (your main focus)
• Work out where and how we can sell more: new channels, new customer segments, new tie-ups
• Identify, approach and build partnerships that bring our books to more readers, including schools, organisations,

retailers and event organisers
• Plan and drive our presence at education conferences, fairs, expos and exhibitions, with an eye to return on investment, not just attendance
• Set the exhibition and partnership plan, supported by our Growth & Buzz Officer for outreach, logistics and in office selling
• Explore cost-efficient marketing avenues and test what works

Launches, Market Insight & PR (supporting)
• Assist in planning launches for new books and other products
• Share market observations and ideas to support the founder’s content ideation
• Identify and pursue PR opportunities: media, features, collaborations

Across the Business
• Work with our social media agency, Amazon team, graphic designer and printer to get the support the growth plans need, and make sure it actually gets done
• Think through and check the output yourself rather than passing instructions along
• Gain working knowledge of
