Software Test Engineer – Test Automation

Job Overview
RTAC is seeking a Software Test Engineer to help deliver stable, reliable, and high-quality software applications. The role involves designing test scenarios, developing automated checks, validating application behavior, and working with engineering teams to identify issues before release.

Responsibilities
• Analyze software requirements and translate them into test scenarios and validation plans.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications using Playwright.
• Perform mobile application testing and automation using Appium.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.
• Verify API responses, data accuracy, and end-to-end application workflows.
• Reproduce software defects, document findings, and coordinate with developers on fixes.




• Execute test suites after current features, bug fixes, and application updates.
• Maintain test results, defect reports, and quality documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and reduce repetitive manual testing.

Skills Required
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Appium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Knowledge of API testing, SQL fundamentals, and browser developer tools.
• Familiarity with Git and bug-tracking workflows.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
