Hiring: Structural Designer – Steel Structures

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Designer with expertise in steel structure modelling, detailing, and fabrication drawings. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Autodesk Advance Steel, Tekla Structures, and SolidWorks, with experience in power plant projects and North American design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for structural steel projects.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, connection details, layouts, and erection plans.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and material lists.
- Interpret structural analysis results and incorporate design modifications.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Manage project documentation, drawing revisions, and deliverables.
Required Qualifications




- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–6 years of relevant structural design experience.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Advance Steel, Tekla Structures, and SolidWorks.
- Experience in combined-cycle and simple-cycle gas-based power plants, including retrofits, up to 800 MW.
- Experience working on North American projects.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards: AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC, ASME, AWS, API, and ABS.
