We are looking for a solid Head of Human Resources for our Durgapur plant.
Role Summary
The role will lead plant HR, industrial relations, manpower planning, compliance, employee engagement, capability building, and workforce productivity initiatives at the Durgapur manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate should understand plant realities, work closely with senior plant leadership, and help build a disciplined, performance-driven, and people-focused manufacturing culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the HR function for the Durgapur plant.
• Drive manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce productivity.
• Manage industrial relations,
union matters, labour issues, grievances, and wage-related discussions.
• Ensure labour law compliance, statutory documentation, contractor labour compliance, and HR governance.
• Strengthen attendance, discipline, performance management, and plant-level HR processes.
• Build training and development programs for workers, supervisors, engineers, and plant managers.
• Support change management initiatives linked to systems, processes, technology, and operational excellence.
• Improve employee engagement, communication, welfare, safety culture, and shop-floor connect.
• Maintain HR MIS, manpower reports, SOPs, dashboards, and structured review mechanisms.
• Partner with plant leadership, corporate HR, consultants, and functional heads on people-related initiatives.
