About the role
A Japanese automotive parts manufacturer is building its India design team and is hiring 2 Automotive Plastic Design Engineers through MXC Ignite. You will design interior and exterior plastic components for vehicles and work closely with the India team, local suppliers and the Japan HQ.
Responsibilities
• Design automotive interior and exterior plastic components
• Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
• Support prototype development and design reviews
• Coordinate with the India team, local suppliers and Japan HQ

Requirements
• 1+ year of hands-on plastic product design experience
• Practical 3D CAD experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Japanese language: JLPT N5 (N4 preferred)
• Good English communication




• Willing to work full-time in office in Gurgaon

Good to have
• Automotive interior or exterior parts experience (OEM or Tier-1)
• Injection moulding or tooling basics
• Experience working with Japanese companies

Job details
• Location: Gurgaon, Haryana (on-site)
• Permanent role with a 3-month probation
• Salary: 8-18 LPA, based on experience, skills and current CTC
