Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical qualified for the position of Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable (E-commerce). The role will be responsible for managing e-commerce receivables, marketplace reconciliations, payment tracking, revenue accounting, and coordination with online marketplaces and internal teams to ensure timely collections, accurate accounting, and effective resolution of outstanding discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
• E-commerce Reconciliation: Manage regular reconciliation of sales, returns, cancellations, refunds, discounts, commissions, and settlements across various e-commerce marketplaces and online channels.
• Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor outstanding receivables, track payments from marketplace partners, and ensure timely collection of dues.
• Marketplace Settlement Reconciliation: Reconcile marketplace settlement reports with bank statements, sales reports,



and SAP/accounting records.
• Revenue Accounting: Ensure accurate recording of e-commerce revenue, sales returns, credit notes, debit notes, commissions, and other marketplace-related transactions.
• Dispute & Deduction Management: Identify and resolve discrepancies related to short payments, payment holds, chargebacks, customer claims, return deductions, and other settlement differences.
• Customer Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of marketplace accounts and ensure timely closure and sign-off of outstanding balances.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on outstanding receivables, ageing analysis, collections, settlement status, deductions, and unresolved reconciliation items.
• Month-End Closing: Support monthly financial closing activities, including revenue reconciliation, provision review, balance confirmation, and closure of open accounting items.
