We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Trainee who wants to build a career in IT services sales and business development. The candidate will learn lead generation, Upwork bidding, client communication, proposal writing, and sales processes while working closely with our team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Business Development

• Research potential clients and generate leads through Upwork, LinkedIn, B2B marketplaces, email outreach, and other digital channels.
• Identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
• Assist in preparing customized proposals and bids for potential clients.
• Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, and Lusha to identify prospects.




• Research client requirements and identify opportunities for custom software development, IT resource augmentation, and dedicated development teams.
• Learn about market trends, prospect research, and business development strategies

Sales & Client Management

• Assist in managing the sales process, from lead generation and qualification to proposal submission and follow-ups.
• Communicate professionally with prospective clients and understand their business requirements.
• Coordinate with technical teams to understand client needs and suggest suitable services.
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, effort estimates, SOWs, and commercial quotations.
• Support client discussions, negotiations, and deal closure under the guidance of the sales team.
• Build and maintain skilled client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.

Pipeline & Performance Management

• Maintain and update lead records, sales pipelines, and CRM data.
