Summary:UST is looking for Front End Lead Engineer to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of contemporary web applications . The role involves leading the development of scalable, reusable UI capabilities, dashboards, visualization components, and contributor-plugin integrations while mentoring engineering teams and establishing frontend best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Angular and TypeScript-based applications.
• Drive the evolution of key platform modules including Process Explorer, Tool Overview Dashboard, File & Recipe, Report Builder, Inventory, and Settings.
• Define and implement reusable UI components, shared libraries, and modular frontend architecture.
• Develop and optimize REST API integrations, state management, validation, error handling, and application performance.
• Support advanced visualization capabilities, including 2D/3D rendering and contributor plugin integration.
• Establish and maintain unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Implement frontend security, monitoring, diagnostics, telemetry, and performance optimization practices.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and mentor team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years of frontend engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience building reusable components, shared libraries, and modular UI architectures.
• Expertise in REST API integration and data-driven applications.
