Job Title: Industrial Trainee – Finance Operations
Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop MIS reports, dashboards, and analytical trackers for receivables, settlements, seller disputes, and SLA adherence
• Assist in monitoring receivables aging, collection efficiency, and working capital performance.
• Analyze SPF payouts, seller settlement data, and other key operational metrics to provide actionable business insights.
• Prepare and analyze seller reconciliation statements, identify exceptions, and support closure of open items and NDCs.
• Perform trend analysis on seller queries, reconciliation backlogs, recoveries, and operational performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Business, Category, Product, Treasury, Tax, and Finance teams to resolve operational issues and drive process efficiencies.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Support seller onboarding governance, KYC validation, and master data quality reviews.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents, and management responses for internal and statutory audits.




• Build financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Prepare leadership presentations, management reviews, and data-backed recommendations for decision-making.

Must-Have Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards, and financial analysis.
• Good understanding of accounting, reconciliations, financial controls, and working capital concepts.
• Ability to interpret large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
• Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Exposure to SAP ERP systems.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, audit, GST, and TDS processes.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Familiarity with e-commerce, marketplace, retail, or seller finance processes.
