Role Description The Buyer role at Sanayi ve Teknoloji Topluluğu is a full-time, on-site position based in Jalandhar. The Buyer will be responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, requesting and analyzing quotations, and negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. This role includes creating and managing purchase orders, tracking order status, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials in line with project and production needs. The Buyer will monitor inventory levels, coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand, and resolve any issues related to quality, quantity, or logistics. The role also involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in supplier sourcing, vendor relationship management, and negotiation.
• Experience with purchase order creation, inventory tracking,



and basic supply chain coordination.
• Ability to analyze quotations, compare costs and terms, and make data-driven buying decisions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple orders and deadlines.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic ERP or purchasing software.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role in manufacturing or technology sectors is an advantage.
• Ability to work in office in Jalandhar and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
