About the Role:
RMH Advisors is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – GST & Income Tax to independently manage GST and Income Tax assignments for an assigned portfolio of clients.
The role involves end-to-end tax compliance, return preparation and filing, reconciliations, tax computations, TDS compliance, client coordination and assistance with departmental notices. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, meeting statutory deadlines, maintaining proper documentation and escalating complex technical matters to the concerned CA or partner.

Key Responsibilities:





• GST Compliance & Management

• Manage GST compliance for assigned clients, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable returns.
• Perform GST reconciliations, including GSTR-2B versus purchase register, and verify input tax credit eligibility.
• Identify discrepancies in sales, purchases, tax liabilities and ITC records and ensure timely resolution.
• Handle GST registrations, amendments, LUT filings and other applicable GST procedures.
• Assist with GST assessments, scrutiny, departmental notices and preparation of supporting documentation.
• Monitor GST filing and payment deadlines to ensure timely compliance.

2. Income tax & TDS Compliance
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for applicable client categories, including individuals, firms and companies.
• Prepare tax computations, advance tax workings and supporting schedules.
