PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Indian Navy hydrography skilled with approximately 15 years of service and practical experience in shipboard hydrographic operations, survey boat handling and marine survey work. Experience includes Single Beam and Multibeam sounding, Side Scan Sonar operations, coastlining, tide watchkeeping, LBM and reference station establishment, and survey equipment deployment. At Hydrographic Survey Unit Mumbai, involved in pre- and post-dredging surveys, siltation studies, and wreck investigation/detection using Side Scan Sonar and R2Sonic Multibeam systems. Familiar with HYPACK, Leica Infinity and GIS data workflows.
CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Hydrographic surveys: SBES, MBES, bathymetric data acquisition, survey-line execution and cross-line checks.
• Dredging surveys: pre-/post-dredging surveys, siltation studies, survey QC, chart plotting and volume-computation workflows.
• Wreck investigation: seabed search and target detection using EdgeTech 4200 FS/FSL Side Scan Sonar and R2Sonic Multibeam.
• Shipboard fieldwork: tide watchkeeping, coastlining,
LBM establishment/levelling and reference station establishment.
• Survey boat operations: approximately 9 m Survey Motor Boats, fishing boats and approximately 14 m FIC boats.
• GIS: raster/vector data management, satellite imagery, elevation models, spatial metadata and map production.
