We’re looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead brand building, social-first marketing, for a leading D2C brand.
The ideal candidate will combine solid brand-building capabilities with a deep understanding of social media, digital storytelling, creator ecosystems, and consumer culture to build an aspirational, globally recognised brand.
Key Responsibilities
• Brand Strategy & Growth: Define and execute the overall brand and marketing strategy across India and APAC, strengthening brand positioning and consumer affinity.
• Social-First Brand Building: Build a distinctive brand presence across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms through platform-native content and campaigns.
• Content & Digital Storytelling: Lead creative campaigns, short-form videos, brand films, product storytelling, and culturally relevant content to drive engagement and brand recall.
• Influencer & Creator Marketing:
Build and scale creator partnerships, influencer collaborations, and brand ambassador programmes to strengthen brand awareness and credibility.
• Community & Cultural Marketing: Develop a compelling brand voice, leverage cultural trends, and build engaged consumer communities that drive advocacy and organic discovery.
• Integrated Marketing: Drive cohesive campaigns across social media, digital advertising, PR, partnerships, and experiential marketing.
• Consumer Insights & Analytics: Use social listening, audience insights, and market intelligence to inform marketing strategy and identify emerging opportunities.
• Business & Growth Alignment: Partner with product, growth, and e-commerce teams to connect brand building with customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention.
