Role: Workday Core HCM Consultant

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior/Lead Workday Core HCM Consultant with robust expertise in Core HCM and Workday Security, along with exposure to Workday Payroll.
This role requires a hands-on functional expert who can independently design, configure, and deliver Workday solutions while leading functional discussions with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday Core HCM solutions
• Lead end-to-end functional ownership across project lifecycle (build → test → deploy → stabilize)
• Handle complex Workday functional challenges during implementation phases
• Configure and manage Workday Security (domains, roles, BP security)
• Troubleshoot security and access-related issues




• Work closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into solutions
• Support testing, defect resolution, and production stabilization
• Act as SME for Core HCM, Security, and Payroll-related processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5-12 years of hands-on Workday experience
• Workday Core HCM Certification (preferred)
• Strong expertise in Core HCM configuration and business processes
• Deep experience in Workday Security configuration & administration
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll (preferred)
• Strong understanding of functional dependencies and downstream impacts
• Ability to independently drive solution design and delivery
• Experience in stakeholder management and functional leadership
