Key responsibilities
• Strategy and growth: Define and implement sales, pricing and go‑to‑market plans to achieve revenue, margin and market‑share targets.
• Key accounts and contracts: Lead negotiations for major supply contracts, tenders and OEM/EPC relationships; secure long‑term agreements and strategic partnerships.
•  Team leadership: Recruit, mentor and manage sales, key‑account and distributor management teams; set targets, KPIs and performance frameworks.
• Commercial operations: Oversee tendering, pricing, credit terms, contract management and commercial risk mitigation.
• Cross‑functional alignment: Coordinate with operations, supply chain, R&D; and service teams to ensure delivery reliability, quality and successful product commercialization.
• Market intelligence: Drive competitor analysis, product positioning, distributor engagement and channel development.
• Governance and reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews, forecasts and P&L; inputs for senior management.
• Required qualifications and experience
• Domain expertise:



Proven track record with high‑end technical products; experience with welding electrodes, NDT or related technologies is advantageous.
• Skills and competencies

 Commercial skills: Robust negotiation, contract management, pricing and tendering capability.
• Technical credibility: Ability to engage technical stakeholders (engineering, maintenance, procurement) and translate requirements into commercial solutions.
• Leadership: People‑management, coaching, target setting and performance management.
• Analytical: Market analysis, pipeline management and P&L; orientation.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and stakeholder‑management skills; proficiency in English, Hindi and relevant regional languages.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel as required.
