Role Description The CS Trainee will support the corporate secretarial and legal functions of the firm on a full time basis at the Mumbai office (on-site). Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in preparation and filing of statutory documents and returns, maintaining company records and registers, and supporting compliance with corporate laws and regulations. The trainee will help in drafting and reviewing board resolutions, notices, minutes, and corporate governance documents, and will coordinate with internal teams on matters relating to deal advisory, due diligence, and stakeholder reporting. The role also involves conducting legal and regulatory research, tracking changes in corporate and securities laws, and supporting client communication and documentation. The CS Trainee will work closely with qualified Company Secretaries and other professionals, gaining exposure to fundraising, M&A; transactions, and dispute resolution matters.
