Role Description The Director at Espanha no Brasil will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and cultural direction for the organization’s activities in Bengaluru in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role involves defining long-term goals, aligning programs and partnerships with organizational objectives, and ensuring effective execution across all departments. The Director will oversee budgeting and resource allocation, monitor performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance impact and efficiency. Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, managing key stakeholder relationships, representing the organization in external forums, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Director will also collaborate with senior leadership to develop recent initiatives, support fundraising or business development efforts, and maintain a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.

performance management, and mentoring.
• Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with experience in setting priorities, managing complex projects, and driving results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, negotiate, and represent the organization professionally.
• Experience in operations and financial management, including budgeting, resource planning, and oversight of processes and policies.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and to foster an inclusive, respectful workplace culture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, International Relations, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a senior leadership or director-level role, preferably within cultural organizations, education, nonprofits, or international programs.
