Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong focus on OpenShift Virtualization (OCP-V) for a short-term contract assignment of 6 months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our virtualized container infrastructure. This role requires deep technical troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM), solid security, storage, and automation expertise, and the flexibility to work from the client location in Pune for 8–10 days per month.
Key Responsibilities:
• OpenShift Virtualization Management: Deploy, manage, and maintain OpenShift Virtualization (OCP-V) environments to support virtualized workloads.
• Security Management: Enforce OpenShift security best practices, including RBAC, SCC, network policies, compliance,
and vulnerability management across clusters.
• Storage Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot persistent storage solutions such as OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF), Ceph, NFS, and SAN, including PVCs, PVs, and StorageClasses.
• Enterprise Storage Integration: Provision and integrate enterprise storage solutions including Portworx, Pure Storage, and Dell Storage with OpenShift/Kubernetes environments, ensuring connectivity and resolving storage-related issues.
• Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV): Plan and execute virtual machine migrations from VMware vSphere to OpenShift Virtualization using MTV, including source environment integration, migration planning, execution, troubleshooting, and post-migration validation.
• Automation with Ansible: Develop, execute, and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and operational tasks. Manage Ansible Automatio
