As a Senior Data Engineer - Global Development, Portfolio & Pipeline (GDPP), you will build, own, and maintain the data pipelines that bring GDPP data from source systems into Sandoz's enterprise data platform. You will play a key role in transforming complex business data into trusted, business-ready data products, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position offers the prospect to shape the data foundation supporting regulatory, portfolio, quality, and biosimilar development functions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines from GDPP source systems into the enterprise data platform.
• Implement and operationalize the enterprise data model by building robust transformations that cleanse, standardize, and integrate source data.
• Build and maintain business-ready datasets and data products aligned with business requirements and data product specifications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, reliability,



scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement data quality controls, validation frameworks, and automated checks to ensure trusted and accurate data assets.
• Work across Databricks and AWS-based environments, including S3, ECS/ECR, Python-based ETL processes, and cloud-native data services.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data flows, transformation logic, lineage, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, business stakeholders, analysts, and SMEs to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
• KPI: Ensure high availability, reliability, and quality of enterprise data pipelines supporting business-critical reporting and analytics.

Essential Requirements
