Role Description The SAP Canada Payroll Consultant will work on-site in India, collaborating closely with HR, finance, and IT stakeholders to design, configure, and support SAP payroll processes specific to Canadian legislation and compliance requirements.



This role involves analyzing business requirements, mapping them to SAP payroll functionalities, and configuring wage types, tax rules, statutory deductions, and reporting within SAP HCM or SuccessFactors (as applicable). The consultant will perform testing, issue resolution, and end-to-end payroll cycle support, including month-end and year-end activities such as T4 processing and reconciliations. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting payroll errors, optimizing configurations, preparing documentation, and training end users on system processes and best practices. The consultant will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring payroll solutions remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with evolving regulatory and business needs.
